Bead Society Of Great Britain

Gems from AGM's

When the society has its AGM every year on the first weekend of July, we visit museums and collections of beadwork, we see items that have been brought out of archives, or very rarely seen by the public. We have seen some beautiful, rare things that we will show you here, with permission of the institution.

2021 AGM held in the lovely museum in Maidstone in Kent.

We had a class on Friday with Liz Thornton learning how to put a RAW bezal around an unusual shape.

The class was a great success. All of the ladies acheived at least one bezel.

On Saturday we had the AGM in a lovely room at the Museum, after lunch we where shown some beautiful beadwork that is not normally on show or from normal displays.
